About Us

We enjoy repair and set-up most of all. Bringing a tired old set back to play, or setting up a set so it holds its tone, is honest and satisfying work.

We set each instrument up to play. The wood, the reeds and the set-up all matter. We talk it through and suggest what suits you, honestly and without fuss.

We are a small workshop making and setting up bagpipes by hand. To us a set of pipes is more than turned wood: made and set up properly, it plays in tune and in tone, and cared for it lasts for generations. That is what our work is about.
